I hope it helps you. My first urologist wanted to put me on gabapentin, but my GP said no because I had a bad reaction to lyrica and apparently that is supposed to be well tolerated. Fingers crossed for you it works and you don't have to stop.

On the forum many said that lyrics was awful an they went into gabapentin

I’ve been suffering this for a while and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions re making it more bearable. I see my urologist 1st dec and we’re discussing more hard core options.

Hi Nassa, This is Monica....I’m 34, also type 1 and recently diagnose with interstitial cystitis.... something that has me very worried is that right after my bladder problems started, I developed insulin resistance and and my blood sugar levels skyrocketed....Did something similar happened to you? I’m desperate looking for answers everywhere because my doctors don’t believe they are related , but I’m pretty sure they are!
