We must be grateful to the OP for recounting his story and giving us his views on diabetes management. A number of members have given their views on the topic and there has been some animosity, including a deleted comment. We also appear to have had some technical issues. I think the thread has been useful in allowing feelings on an emotive issue but, on balance, it must come to a close. I do not think that this will be the last time that we debate this issue but this thread is now closed. Thanks for your participation.
