soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
T1 husband had to go see the nurse to redo a dressing on a diabetic ulcer on his leg. He also saw the doctor, beecause an odd mark has appeared on his back which the nurse advised him to show the doc. Our fomer doctor [of 35 years] has just retired and we'd been referred to this other one in the practice. He's been around a number of years and is lovely.
Anyway I askd T1 if he could beg a pack of strips for me, since my last prescribes pack was last August. I was expecting him to come home saying he'd had to put forth an argument for them. Apparently not they were prescribed without question and I was sen a leaflet about driving and testing. He asked if I still have Starlix on prescription. Acrttually it's still on my list, but I use it only if my Bg goes up out of target[ which of course it doesn't] T1 didn't tell the doctor that "out of target" for me is "over 6".
I shall be careful not to abuse this new strips priviledge, but I'm delighted. Mark on T1's back deemed to be unimportant, just a burst surface blood vessel.
