After aqua mobility class this morning, one of our group(a retired chef) brought out the birthday cake he'd made for our instructor. We all had a piece of it and it was delicious. I checked my BG when i got home an hour or so later after stopping at the supermarket and it was 6.7. This without any medicine. I was at my normal 5.4 first thing this morning and hadn't had breakfast
A few months ago, that small piece of cake ( with icing) would have sent me up to about 13. I suspect that exercise helped, but conclude that I must be processing stuff better. I know I'm a low carber, but I don't call special occasions ( cheating!) I also don't do this sort of thing often.
