I Just Joined

Hi, I'm Clare, I am new here, I don't have diabetes though, I'm here because I consume a lot and love sweets and heard this is one of the major cause of diabetes (If I'm not mistaken). I am hoping that I can learn more about diabetes, on how to prevent it, handle it (If the time comes that I have diabetes). lastly I have a friend who's prone to it, His father already have it. so maybe I can be a little help to them too.

I see, my friend is preventing himself to consume sweets as he believe that he'll get diabetes. so it's just a myth. I might tell this to my friend.
