J-P, the 9.2 is a little high, but not extremely high. It seems unlikely that you'd have symptoms like that from a blood glucose of 9.2. One way to explore this if you're not getting any help from a doctor is to try avoiding carbohydrates (fruit, bread, rice, potato, pasta, sugar, milk, juice, soft drinks, etc.) for a while and see if you still have symptoms. Cut out the alcohol and protein shakes. Eat fresh vegetables and good quality proteins (fish, beef, chicken). Eggs are good, too.
Definitely keep seeing your doctor to try to figure out what the problem is. My guess is they they would run a bunch of urine and blood tests which would hopefully address whether it's diabetes. If you have other medical issues that could affect your blood glucose control rather than the blood glucose issues being caused by diabetes.
