Ideas for food at work?

does anyone take their own food into work? If so, what? I'm stuck for ideas and can't stand sandwiches much longer.
Most days I'm in 3:00 - 11:30 so it can be a pain

I took in a salad with chicken or cooked ham; didn't know I was diabetic then so I had fruit and a Muller corner yoghurt then (eton mess was my favourite, yikes)! In the winter I often took in something like a spag bog and heated it in the microwave, you could have it without the spagetti and add flax seeds or something similar although I am not sure really for a T1, are you OK with potatoes or pastas in moderation? Being T2 I can't have those but can have fatty things so nuts are good apart from cashews as they are a bit high in carbs.
 
Potatoes seem to be okay but pasta is a bit of a no no for me.
Before I was diabetic alls I used to do was snack
 
You could do a baked potato in the microwave and add some curried mince/tuna/low cla beans etc.

I can't stand baked potato or beans, I'm too fussy haha.

I usually take some home made veggie soup with a hard boiled egg or some cheese and flax crackers or cheesey veg flax muffin Or chicken drumsticks w/salad and fruit. Sometimes leftovers from previous meals. I tend to snack on protein drinks, fruit and nuts/cheese. It's interesting in our staff room seeing what other folk eat ... mostly it's processed carbs devoid of fruit/veg.
 
I take in a salad or vedge dish with quinoa lentils all different grains found in the lentil part of supermarkets

Is that 3am, until late morning, or 3pm, until late evening?

Are you a low carber, or a moderation in all things sort of guy? That would influence any suggestions.
 
I've just been having salad each day but need more options.
It's 3pm until 11:30 pm!


More of a moderation person, can't cope with few carbs!
 
Plough and lunch - french bread, cheese, pickles, in a clip top box. Soup or casserole in a food flask. Couscous, with cooked meats or chopped up sausages folded through it. Coronation chicken, with bread or pasts.

To be honest, the options are endless, if you're not cutting down on carbs.

If you weren't at work, what would you have, and why can't you do that at work?
