Ideas for gaining/preserving muscle while low carbing

Good Morning everyone,

I am trying to build more muscle, especially for back and knee strength, as I have been experiencing some pain. I definitely lost some muscle in my legs when I first started cutting out carbs, quite quickly. Does anyone have any tips for building muscle and maintaining it on a low carb diet please?

Any answers much appreciated!
 
Aim at 1,5 gram of protein per ideal/target weight and combine with resistance training (weight lifting)
