I am really trying to controll my diabetes with diet only and at times it is a challenge. What is getting me down is the amount of times that I feel like having a snack. I am getting hungry most of the time. I know they say the health snacks are carrot sticks , celery ets. After some time this gets so boring and thats when I lose it and have something I should not be having.
Any suggestions please on healthy snacks, and also the ones that wont make me hungry :x
Hi - I snack on Almonds, which are supposed to be really good for you, are filling and don't affect my BG at least. They are a bit fatty though, so if you are trying to lose weight (like I am) you have to go easy on them.
