I'm Type II Diabetic since '87 and insulin dependent since 2005. In 2005 I was diagnosed with Tongue Cancer at age 62. I had never smoked no been around second hand smoke. They couldn't figure out why I had it!
Since I am an avid researcher for hobby, I studied it and figured I was probably highly acidic. This is a No No!
I thought nothing of drinking 3 Diet Cokes per day, sometimes more! Also, I was under a lot of stress, which is the #1 Enemy of the immune system. (When your immune system is in compromise, anything can happen!)
I have kept my sugar levels under control pretty well until recently. I can't figure out why the change! My sugar has dropped too low many times, causing clamminess, disorientation, and even passing out 3 times! My husband has gotten me a Medical Alert to wear all the time. It is one with Fall Detection, because how would you push a button or talk to anyone if you're unconscious?
I'm out to find a CURE for this stuff! I tribute it to my most recent health issue: Open Heart Surgery with a valve replacement and four bypasses! I have no history of this in my family and also had no symptoms! Happy to be on this forum and meet all of you!

Wow! You've certainly been through the mill! Welcome to the forum and I truely hope you will find the answers you are looking for and can share some of your experiences and knowledge with the forum.

Hi and welcome to the forum. What a lot to contend with, my heart goes out to you. Hopefully some of the helpful members will be able to shed some light on your BS woes. I used to find I was going low all the time while on medication and now that I am diet only I still have the occasional issue. If I cut myself, even a slight nick I have to sit down otherwise I will hit the floor. Do you have a meter to test your BS with as it would be good to know exactly how low you are going.

Just to say hello Natural Gran Im only recently diagnosed also..Hope u find this site good as I sure do!

Thanks for your concern.Yes, I have always had a meter to check my BS. As for the supplement I have been taking,it seems to be working well! I'll post again when I have completed the bottle. WOW, wouldn't it be great to be cued of this awful disease??? Did you know the average Diabetic spends over $13,000 (US dollars) in one year?
