Trying to get my Libre unstuck after 14 days
I just got my Implanon contraceptive implant replaced last week and have noticed a definite difference in my blood sugar since then. I have a Freestyle Libre 2 sensor and it’s showing me enormous rises after a moderate amount of carbs per meal, like things that would normally raise my BS by 3 or 4 are going up 7 or 8. I’ve been eating quite late and I seem to keep on spiking after dinner and not coming back down to normal levels afterwards, but staying high (9/10) all night long. I’ve been under a lot of stress due to some family circumstances, which I thought may be related first of all, but this pattern has only emerged since I got the Implanon replaced last Wednesday. I was a year into the previous one when I started using the CGMs, so don’t have any comparable level of insight, as the implant was well settled and I was only testing once a day at that point. Has anyone else on here had any similar experiences with their BS and new contraceptive implants?
