My wife was said to have inflamed pancreas before gallstone surgery. A week to the laposcopy surgery, she was diagnosed with high bloodsugar. Her bloodsugar was between 18 and 25.She was put on gliclazide and bloodsugar has slowly come down to between 4 and 8 in 4 weeks.
Can anyone advice if the high blood sugar will reverse should the pancreas come to normal.
Hi Rioses,
The doctors will ensure your wife's blood sugar is reduced and her health is satisfactory prior to the operation.
You must ask your wife's doctors to answer you of all the necessary concerns you have.
It is not easy to answer your question as we do not know the exact circumstances.
I hope all goes well for your wife, I know worried you must feel.
Roy
