Inhaling insulin....

The clinical trials have suggested that the Afrezza causes a significant increase in lung mucus and probability of bronchial issues. I'm not sure that I'd want to take that risk.

Same here, but for those who have a needle phobia it might be a risk worth taking.
 
I actually heard about the development of something like this a number of years ago.. The "concept" was a spray up the nose from what i remember..?
I suppose it was only a matter of time... I was hearing about the pump back in the 1980's...
