Hi everyone,
How common is it to inject accidentally into a blood vessel when performing a subq injection in the belly?
Im very lean under 10% bodyfat and often when i do a subq inject i get left with a small bump, it feels like a vessel or capillary has been inflamed but im not sure if the medication is being injected into the vessel.
when pinching the skin I can feel the vessels underneath and it just feels like one of them has been inflamed. it goes down after an hour though and no pain or bruising.

Thanks everyone.

I have the same problem, I'm very lean as well. Occaisionally I'll catch a capillary and it will leave a bruise.

I don't think there's really anything to be done about it. I can't inject my basal into my legs I find as there's just no fat there at all, so it has to be my ****.

The small bumps, depending on how much you are injecting, will be the insulin forming a pocket in the subcutaneous fat before dispersing
