To be honest noblehead I'm secretly quite pleased. It was a football collision with my 16 yr old stepson that I can now hold over him for the test of his life mwahahaha (evil laugh time)
I compromised and saw Dr this morning. Definitely broken but at least not misaligned so no problem. He said I was right to pop in but best thing to do is leave it alone. Strapping it to the next toe would only cause them to rub skin off each other and possibly get infected whoch would just be yuk

Oh dear no! Hope toe and ankle heal up soon for you. In the meanwhile, here's to morphine!!Just a quick update. I found a great way to stop the pain of the broken toe. I had an unfortunate incident with a rope swing on the local woods and have now dislocated and fractured the ankle as well. Funnily enough I haven't really noticed the toe pain anymore. Morphine is marvellous
