Insulin abroad

Hi

I'm hoping to go to New Zealand for a year but I am a type 1 diabetic and cannot find information on internet searches in relation to approximate cost of insulin.
All I can see is that it is subsidised but not by how much, just wondered if anyone had any information more than that?

Hiya and welcome to the forum Deakat.

I'm not sure about the Kiwi healthcare system, but I believe there is a co-payment to be made on subsidised treatments of anything up to $15NZ. You might be better off contacting the NZ embassy tho' to confirm that.
