Insulin Pumps and Rollercoasters

I've been approved for a six month trial! Apparently, I technically get the choice of the Omnipod or Medtronic but the doctor said because of the amount of insulin I inject each day I'm going to have to get the Medtronic.

With the specific question of theme parks and coasters, the doctor said to keep the pump off. I may be able to find a way to keep it safe and on me but best not test if the pump will still work with magnetic brakes and launches hanging around.

So I am gonna have to go the disconnected route and keep the pump safe somewhere.

Thanks for all the helpful advice! I just need to wait a few months for this to happen now! (Right before Alton Towers Scarefest and Thorpe Park Fright Nights )
