Yep that's confusing!
You're probably right about the heat though. I always used to run my bath too hot and that usually guaranteed a hypo. So not only do we need to keep our blood sugar stable, we also need a carefully temperature controlled environment!
Oops.
Oh well, maybe think of it as a good excuse for some ice cream?!
Hi, the hot weather can have really bad effects on your insulin levels, worth having less during periods of very hot weather, you can always adjust your short acting insulin if you need to. I had a bad hypo out walking in the hot weather that took me by surprise so unfortunately it's all part of being a Type 1 diabetic, we all live and learn, hopefully!
