Hell yeah, I was on 12 u before falling pregnant (but on low carb diet and trying to lose weight to conceive), then during pregnancy I went up to about 30 u basal although I was also bolus ing a lot and the more you bolus the more insulin is in your system so you don't need as much basal as you may think. Then towards the end I was commonly blousing 30-40 units, and struggling to get it below 7 on that. I was on MDI not pump. It will fall right back after you deliver, I was really insulin sensitive the first few days which was great but due to weight gain sadly it didn't last and I still need more now than before I fell pregnant but hopefully if I lose weight it will go down again.
