I have no idea, but it does sound like it. Our IR does improve as the day goes on, and logically that has to be down to the fact we are active during the day, so this should be helped by additional activities such as your return to rowing.
Strangely enough, something similar has happened to me, both at lunch and at tea. My plus 2 hours at lunch has dropped steadily month by month since October, and the actual rise has halved since October with no obvious change to routine or meals.
My plus 2hr rises after tea have dropped by 0.3mmol/l in the same period, but more surprisingly, my plus 1hr after tea has dropped more than anything.
My fasting and pre-meal levels are not dropping, they are stable on the whole with no signs of dropping, but my bedtime levels have dropped.
