It has been suggested to me that I may be insulin resistant and wondered if anyone had any information that I may read etc. I have read the information this site has, just wanted more before I start making plans on how to lose this excess weight.
I understand that the vast majority of us Type 2's are insulin resistant, if not all of us. Following a low carb diet will help you lose weight and help with the insulin resistance. Exercise will help with the insulin resistance even more. Metformin is supposed to help, too.
Hi woolfie11969 if you've looked on this site you will get good help if you want to find out more in the mean time have a look on web sites they usually have a lot of information there good luck PS I can't really help as I'm type1.
Tells you a lot about insulin sensitivity if you can stick in there. I am just ploughing through it again and learning stuff I probably forgot from last time.
My aim is then to get to the end of the book about low carb performance which I have never managed to finish.
