hey everyone wanted to ask where does everyone store there insulin i store mines in fridge im sure most people do is there anywhere else you can store or reccomend to store insulin

I store the new cartridges in the fridge. Following the advice on the information sheet that comes with the boxes of cartridges, I keep the current pens at room temperature or in a frio pack. I use NovoRapid and Levemir.

all insulin should be stored in a fridge prior to a cartridge or vial being removed for starting to use.
it should also come out of the fridge when collected from pharmacy..............and if any high readings occur that are totally unexpected -- change vial or cartridge straight away..........

insulin once out of the fridge should be good for 4 weeks ( 30 days )

Yep all full unopened cartridges are stored in the fridge, in use pens sit in my top bedroom drawer xx
