s. I’d like better control. I’m on empagliflozin and metformin. I’m waiting to go onto insulin but looking for advice on which one. I’m also chronically ill with ME and often feel poorly and it’s difficult to manage this day to day due to fatigue and malaise. I’d like to have CGM if possible. How can I get this and what is best for me please. Last HbA

free trials are available which if not tried before you can take advantage of 10day: https://www.dexcom.com/en-GB/dexcom-one-plus-sample libre: https://www.freestyle.abbott/uk-en/getting-started/sampling.html

regards with switching over to insulin, that unfortantly doesnt always mean get a cgm with it. there criteria would have to fall under to get prescribed..

I would try take advantage of the above 2 cgm trials, if not done so already, record foods, readings, levels exercise etc. test on food groups you wish to try to see wether or not they agree with you. can't help much further than that. I can tell you my late mum who was upwards of 4 insulin injections per day did not qualify for a cgm and multiple daily injections was one of the criteria..
