Hi everybody,
Dose every type 2 diabetic end up on insulin, iv only bin told i was type 2 diabetic, two month ago, and I think its just hit me, I'm doing everything i should do, loosing weight, cutting down on carbs, taking blood befor and after meals, but I'm starting to worry now,

No, it's not true to say that all T2's end up on insulin! Most are treated adequately on diet and oral meds!

Not all type 2s, end up on insulin. Most r controlled by oral meds, diet or excercise, or a combination of them. All the mentioned will help with their natural insulin sensitivity as will weight loss if hi bmi. Unfortunately there is a very wide range within type 2, as some may not be overweight and excercise etc but still not help, so insulin is then used.
