What a massive divide between the Americas and Europe. Is it the diet or is it the type of studies?

I think a lot of cattle in US are fed on grain rather than roaming on grassland like Europe.

Stick blender may not be the best option.

I think that jug blenders may be better and even have tops designed to let a slow stream of oil drop into the egg mixture with the blender running.

So if just for mayo, jug blender. If you will use the stick blender for other stuff then away you go. :-}
