Hi, I just wondering as I am looking for full time work, where I stand, at this time on interviews and jobs, is it safe to go for them? Money is running short so need to find something soon but bring diabetic and the current lack of work at present...can anyone help or give me advice please?

Well with all the current shut downs your choices are quite limited.

What type of work are you looking for? Remember only 'key workers' should be travelling to work now.

Supermarkets do seem to need a lot of people so that's one possibility.

In terms of safety, unless you have a serious underlying health condition like hypertension or kidney disease then you can work if you can maintain social distancing.

Hi @Rachic ,

Welcome to the forum.

What I can gather in this current climate.
Unless you are a key worker, work in food retail (or that area.) auto mechanics, or banking?
Others, if they can keep going from home? Then that's what is done.
Work goes on... All non essential trades have been put on "lock down" (been told to close.) with the plan for the government to soften the financial impact on these companies & staff?
Staff in certain firms from what I know have been "furloughed," with an opportunity to "get the band back together" when this blows over..
