I'm sure I have done this before but here goes:-
I have been type 1 for 43 years and have been using an Animas pump since 2008.
I don't have any complications (as far as I know) but my diabetes does get me down sometimes and I find I always feel very guilty if I don't manage to keep it under control.
I eat a lowish carb diet and avoid bread, potatoes, pasta, pizza , biccies, cake etc
I am a part time nurse, married and have 3 grown up children and 5 grandchildren.
