I do not have diabetes
I have been on the programme for 3 weeks but for the last few days I’ve not been feeling great , with symptoms of IBS - is this common?

What are you eating? Have you switched to foods you didn't eat before?
I found I had to be careful with chia seeds and only ate a very small amount at first. I also made up a porridge that was mainly milled flaxseeds to avoid constipation.

Thank you Tricia. Yes, I have changed my diet a lot. I think maybe too much green leafy veg ( if that’s possible), and possibly cut out too many carbs too quickly. I’ve been given some organic oat bran so am trying that sprinkled on various things. I’ll look for the milled flaxseeds.

I BS can be either solid or runny or both. If solid then oats, flaxseed (linseed in UK) and fibre may help. If runny then these very same items are not what you need.

Are you drinking enough? If you are losing weight on this diet, then you will need to increase intake of both water and salt to compensate.

Thank you, yes, I am drinking loads more water and decaffeinated tea. It’s definitely “solid” so I’ll Try the oat bran and linseed in the first instance.
