Is a vegan diet effective for a T2D on orals?

Are you seriously saying Greger is responsible for what title the interviewer and/or poster of the video used? He said “reversed” - about 1 million times.

um, third paragraph, 1st sentence of this thread, you use the word cure.

Greger is a medical doctor. A practicing physician. Hence the M.D. behind his name.

A practicing physician.

Greger has never practised so far as I am aware apart from the training necessary to get his title.. he has been a teacher for almost his entire career.. he has no patients. .. the above from his Wikipedia entry

The reference diet is the ADA food pyramid/

The results themselves for the effectiveness of the vegan diet speak volumes whatever the reference diet is.
After 22 weeks HbA1c starts to rise again..

Incorrect. He may not be accepting patients now, but he most definitely worked in a clinical setting as a physician for many years.

Sez who? He is licenced to practice, but that is not the same as having a practice.

Read one of his books, go to one of his lectures. He had patients. He was a practicing physician. “Many of them” per, you know, HIM. But you said he wasn’t an M.D., so clearly learning about him = not so much.

You are correct. He may be your guru, but he is not mine. I do not agree with the science he is using, and it is not backed up by any independant analysis that I can find, I can however, find evidence that totally disagree with his views, and which is peer reviewed and archived. No one has posted in this thread with anything that changes my opinion, and my personal experiences with that diet has also not moved me to consider using it - the very opposite in fact. Until someone has some decent evidence to present here, I have no further interest in pursuing this discussion any further.

Barnard yes Greger no. Is that what you mean? Are you getting your vegan docs muddled?

All, this thread has descended into a bickering fest and will now be locked.
