Hi guys.

I think my GP must get fed up of me changing meters all the time , but I really thought i'd found what I loved. I'm a bloke and hate carrying so much about , so at my last DAFNE meeting I requested a new meter and after my gp grumbling a little I managed to get him on side with me - and I am using the accu-chek mobile , its sleek , and more than anything its `mobile` , sits in 1 case and I can go all day without having to mess with this and that. Anyway I think it reads a little high , I've tried the solution and it says the meter is okay , but after testing what I thought was a hypo (was 4.4) I checked on my insulinx and it says 3.4 (HYPO woops)

What should I do ? Carry on using it and take it with a pinch of salt , or go back to my old meter , probably knowing I won't test if I'm out and about?

I can get a range like that with my meter also, even using the same drop of blood on 2 different strips.

If it feels hypo, then it is hypo. Simple as that! So always treat it like one
