Research outside of uk are saying just remission Kevin. Uk's history of these ops are not fully documented, only recently. So short-term good hba1c's.I've heard several able diabetic specialists talking about the total resolution of T2 as a result of this kind of surgery

What made the Catholic church decide on Latin as the language for the Mass is that it is as a dead language unchanged by modern parlance or concepts this of course is untrue of text books which constantly change in order to keep up with increased knowledge gained from research this is why most of the text books I bought for my degree course have been updated and rewritten and why they were not written in Latin modern languages deal in modern concepts Latin cannot.

Following the "only correct" recommendations has you on insulin and 4 other meds. You consider this successful? Please tell us all in what way this is a success compared to my results? My opinion is that someone with such poor results as you have shouldn't be giving advice.I am sorry to disappoint you, but in all the world there are many thousand of research workers who works to solve DM problem, but the Latin sentence say: "Per aspera ad astra" ( The way to the stars is very long).
You can not help people with T2DM to tell them a falsity. To tell the people that they can reverse a diabetes is to give to them a bad conscience. No one can reverse T2DM if they eat a dog diet. Look at this individual off @NoCrbs4Me. He is not aware about how the people get the diagnose T2DM.
He has been perhaps lucky if his T2DM has been diagnosed on a very onset. Then for a short period of time he can control T2DM with diet and exercise, but the DM say to him "You can go forward, but I can catch you".
People get this diagnose in connection with another diseases as a consequence off T2DM. People get a Cardiovascular problems, retinopathies, nephropathies, neuropathies and another problems.
I do not understand why on the internet is accepted to bring air balloon's before the proof is in the place.
My opinion is the internet is not a place where people can acquire a knowledge. Look on the medical faculties. They do not get the knowledge from the internet,. but from the serious books.
The only correct manner to treat the T2DM is to follow the recommendations from the health authorities. I know, some people employed by this authorities are not serious, but there are a doctors who do there job properly. Your hope and my to get an answer for your problem say the Latin sentence:
Latin: "Nichil vulgo insertius" on English: "There is nothing so unrealiable as the hope is".
Have a nice day
They live off ice cube portions of food.I think we mean the same thing
The NHS nomenclature for remission is "resolved" which I've seen featured in a pic of medical papers on this forum, but in essence all its saying is..."your numbers are non-diabetic, but keep living correctly or they will become diabetic again"

I need to start a new thread to ask..... would you risk death to get type2 into remission?
So wrong, in so many ways. Society doesn't help either.
Yes, your right @NoCrbs4Me .My understanding is that the goal of bariatric surgery is weight loss. Reversal of type 2 is just a bonus.
Just meat (mostly beef), eggs, and some cheese.Yes, your right @NoCrbs4Me .
With regards to no carbs I think the nhs dieticians are slowly getting the message. Mine has backed down to 120g carbs from carbs in every meal. They have been alerted to fat not being an enemy but some are half hearted.
I have to do 20g carb to have any affect on my diabetes which interfers with my other conditions so it's fragile.
I too can only tolerate a few vegtables, worse on metformin.
If no veg or carbs, is your diet just meat and good fats?
You really don't know much about diabetes. You haven't provided an adequate answer as to why you think being on insulin and 4 different meds shows that you are successful with treating your diabetes. I no longer have diabetes and likewise many on this forum have gone from having type 2 diabetes, high blood glucose, and on meds to having normal blood glucose levels and being on no meds simply by eating a lower amount of carbohydrate. I am way healthier than you are, so why should I or anyone else listen to your terrible advice? You followed your advice and are now very unhealthy. Perhaps you should consider following the advice of people (not just me) on this forum who have reversed their type 2 diabetes and are now much healthier than you.@ickihun
This thread is not about your dog food or my T2DM medication.
My opinion is you are like a gramophone plate running in one groove.
You do not know absolutely nothing about T2DM. I do not understand who give to you this "like's"
To tell people they can reverse the diabetes it is a LIE.
The reason why your BG is low is because you do not eat carbohydrates. This is a logic for the cage chickens. You are ignorant about the consequences of your dog diet ( My dog eat only meat, eggs, and some cheese) . This consequences are Atherosclerosis, Cardiovascular problems, Kidney (Renal) problems and Colon Cancer. The progression of your DM is inside in your body and you do not feel it until one day the complications come on the surface.
I can write to you from now to the next year and you will nothing understand. You can eat your dog food and let me be free from you. It is your choice and I will nothing do about that.
Your question about my use of insulin and different medication has been answered to you many time, but you do not understand that. It makes no sense to give you my answer.
I'd love to rate you @britishpub but as I was gently steered away from my Latin class after first year of high school and onto modern languages, I haven't a clue what you said. How's about a translation for we non-classics scholars?Tamen manifestum est quod sino forum troglodytam ad perturbare.
Cum enim discere nos.
Hope is never false, it is an eternal flame that burns in the human heart and allows us to have faith in the future.but sometime this text give the people the false hope
