Saw dietician at my local GP yesterday who was horrified I have started low carb diet. She advised me to eat carbs with every meal, avoid fats, substitute butter with marg etc. I listened politely but going to ignore her prehistoric advice in favour of low carb
Sales of bread are dropping by 10% a year as people are dropping their carbohydrate intake. Looks like low carb is taking off and that butter is seen as more healthy to margarine. LCHF rules.

Good on you Blyth lass. At my GPs there a several different docs. Most don't agree with low carb and when I went to see one of them he said there was nothing I could do to avoid complications. I was really upset coz I sort of thought doctors new it all. So I thought I was making a mistake by trying low carb. Then at another appointment I met my usual doctor and he was ecstatic at my results after low carb. He is so supportive of my low carb lifestyle I'm blessed to have him as my GP
