Hi Margorie
I live in London but my son and daughter-in law live in Binstead. My husband and I are thinking about moving to the IOW some time this year, but not too sure about the ferry's as they are quite expensive. Is it a good place to live.

I'm in Southampton so fairly close to the island. Ferries are too expensive but cheaper if you live there, resident discounts apply from over there. Passenger ferry is not too bad but a bit much for a car. Those who live there like it, many commute to London as houses are much cheaper, less even than Southampton or Portsmouth and surroundings.
