i am and have for a few months experienced itching on both my forearms as if it was eczma but no noticeable rash, i have read somewhere this could be a symtom of the diabetes but does not seem to coincide with high bgl not all the time and not quite as bad recently anyone else experience this?

Hi
Diabetics can suffer with dry skin, which obviously causes itching. It doesn't always come down to sugar levels

If it's restricted to your forearms - do you use the computer and rest your arms on the edge of the desk etc Has someone used a differents cleaning agent - just a thought......?

I currently have an itching problem but think it's caused by the jacuzzi at the gym I have been using, they have a warning up for excema sufferers so maybe that triggered me-I believe the heat exagerates the drying effect of the chlorine. Johnsons baby moistriser is cheap and works well for me.

Skin itching is a symptom of T2. It can be caused by many things but dry skin or yeast infection are not unusual. I use some "Aqueous Cream BP" and that helps my itchyness but if it's yeast (unlikley on your forearms) you need something stonger.
