Itchy legs agony

Hi anyone recommend any quick cures to relieve itchy legs. I know I shouldn’t scratch them but when l do the relief is short lived. They now feel like someone has roughly sandpapered my legs and poured vinegar on them.
 
If you have what I have had.

I bought some Eucerin Urea Repair Foot Cream, which I bought from Boots. It was a little expensive but it works. There seems to be alternatives that are cheaper. But the Urea content helps a lot.

It’s a bit of a faff putting it on but it does help.

Are you taking Metformin at all Hibby? Some people do experience that.

If it's driving you bonkers an anti histamine could work short term.
 
I get this more in the Winter.
Boots baby cream is as good as anything to moisturise your legs.
[Other moisturisers are available.]

Please also note that if you search, for example, for "winter dry skin" you will find that this is a common thing and not directly linked to diabetes.
Treatment seems to be the same, though.
Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!!
 
When my legs start to itch a warning of dermatitis rearing it's ugly head, I use Antroquoril cream. I also use Cortic DS cream when the skin gets weepy.

Both of these creams are prescription only.
