We [hubby/me] won £10 last week lottery.
First tenner for months though.

RRB you got lucky positive attitude "me thinks"
Remember reading somewhere luck 'IS' with the positive thinkers ...
Luck could be attracted to it maybe ?

Thanks Anna what have you decided to spend it on? Just think of the amount of cheese you could get with £10 ( ps don't tell Grace as she might be a tad jealous )

Hi...

I had a dentists bill on friday of over £100 .
A crown at the FRONT fell out - oh was I gappy [hubby/daughter both said I would have
looked great for the halloween] Cheeky s*ds :lol:
So it ended up in this - to help me out ...

I am trying to think posistive that it was the first win of a few to come :thumbup:

Then if I get a good win I can send you both all the cheese you need
And get proper veneers put on !

That happened to me years ago when I worked part time in an estate agents. Someone asked me the price of a house and I said 'Forty thousand, five hundred and fifty pounds' and of course with all the 'effs' involved, I blew my already loose crown right out of my mouth and right across the flipping desk. I was mortified.

Did you get any treats when you went out for Halloween Anna? :wink:
 
Hi guys

I now have £25.00 in gift vouchers from Purina with a lovely apologetic letter.

I wrote to Purina regarding a few of their pouches which had a bit of a jagged edge and one that I used for my cat had a very sharp pointed edge which pireced my skin and drew blood. I photographed the pouches before I sent them, in case they got lost or mislaid :wink:

I received this great letter :- here are some quotes from it

Dear

Thank you very much for contacting us regarding a recent purchas of Felix in Gravy. We would like to assure you that the greatest care is taken to ensure that all our products are packaged in safe, secure, but easily accessable packaging. We would therefore like to apologise for the obvious concern you have experienced. ( they think these particular pouches have become misaligned during the production)

Please be assured that we have taken this matter very seriously.

Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would like to take this oppotunity to enclose £25.00 worth of vouchers, to put towards future purchase from the range, which we hope you will try again in the future.

I am going to contact them to say thank you for the positive response, I really appreciate the reply. Now,why can't more companies be like that?

Not sure about my Cat, I have to give him 1/8th of a blood pressure tablet every morning in his food and if he's in a bit of a mood, well I have learnt to let him get on with it. He certainly does like his food

I have actually bought a lottery ticket for Wednesday and Saturday's draw today:thumbup: I hope that lucky streak continues

Yes noblehead. When I passed my local shop today I went in an bought a lottery for Wednesday and Saturday. I very rarely do the lottery, but like everyone else, you just never know. I will have my fingers crossed and for all of you who are doing the lottery as well. Good luck RRB
