Just returned from a 7 day trip to Australia on business. The jet lag is killing me. It's now a week later and I am slowly returning to normal....as opposed to waking up at 4AM and being unable to get back to sleep. Not good but anyway.....this is the first long-haul since I have been measuring my Blood Sugar. I have found that when the jet-lag was at its worst my readings are on average +2mmol/L more per reading! Thankfully they are now back to the mid-5's (last 2 days) but it was quite a remarkable change. Anyone else noticed this when jet-lagged?
I find it's the liver dumps, from waking up initially, then repetitive dumps as my body clock seems to still dump at the time on the clock to get up, and various times inbetween!
