joint and muscle pain

I've just found this thread again just short of 12 months later.

As others have commented, it turned out that my shoulder issue was a Frozen Shoulder. I had it manipulated on Friday of last week and am now doing LOTS of physio. So far, it's relieved a lot of the problems - my shoulder has a much greater range of motion and doesn't give me pain through the normal range of motion. If I stretch it beyond normal then I get discomfort, but that's just normal at this stage.

When I had my manipulation, there were three diabetics on the list for that day - me and another person who are both type 1 and a third person who is a type 2. The conditions do seem to go together.

Hi,
do you know what insulin medication the type-1s were on, and was the type-2 on analogue insulin?
Keep us posted on your progress, glad it's going well so far.

Hi, I'm wondering the same thing. I know I had some arthritis in my hips. I'm wondering if the Lantus is making it worse.

I am experiencing hip pain early in the morning to the point I have to take something for pain. I was given Diclofenac Pot 50 mg for my right knee. That's been since last summer. I took it one time and stopped because I am medication sensitive. At that time with my knee, I didn't have any hip issues until January 2017. So I thought I'd try the Diclofenac Pot and it relieved my hip pain. However, I was curious to know if Lantus creates joint pain. There is a report that shows that many people on Lantus are having similar issues with pain.

So if I come off of Lantus, I'm kinda reluctant to start trying different insulin meds.
