can anyone help me. I'm type 2 taking humulin at night and Victoza on a morning with metformin and tolibulomide (if that's spelt right). I started on the humulin at the end of last year and I seem to have developed a lot of joint pain in my hands, wrists, shoulders and arms. Not sure if it's a coincidence but has anyone else got the same. It's progressively getting more painful and very uncomfortable. I'm 52 and don't really want to think I've got arthritis or rheumatism just yet.
Thanks
I'm on the long acting one - isophane insulin - bright green in colourWhich type of Humalin are you taking as there are different ones?

I've been in Simvastatin for years and had no symptoms till nowAre you taking statins as well? Quite a few people report joint pains from them..
I can't comment first hand but I've checked the patient information on the website and there seems to be no mention...I'm on the long acting one - isophane insulin - bright green in colour

Probably like me ... I have just been diagnosed with FIBROMYALGIA on top of my type 2 diabetes (treated with insulin). Just had the diabetic review and that was "nearly perfect" as far as the diabetic nurse was concerned, the pains are NOT diabetes related in any way. Diabetic diagnosis was in 2000 and started insulin 7 or 8 years ago.can anyone help me.
