just read the blood sugar diet book

Thank you - that's all very helpful. I do walk the day for 30-60mins a day so maybe I'll just tweak down to 900 and see what happens. I've lost just over 18 pounds in 7 weeks which I'm pleased with and have kept to around 50g of carbs a day - but no harm in ramping it up bit for a week or so and seeing what difference it makes to my bs levels and weight loss.
 

I’m impressed! I’ll have a read of that. I wish you very best of luck in getting a diabetes management group up and running - it could be such a life changer. Let us know how you’re getting on, it may well inspire others....
