Hi Val
I am in London and wish I was back in Yourkshire.
Email your address (beware I am a nutter and might just drive up to Sheffield and knock on your door at 3am to borrow 3 slices of bread, seeded wholemeal organic no less) - arent I funny with my corny jokes?!
Ok email to Alessifan@aol.com and I will post you some fresh, healthy kefir grains.
All the best
Karen x
Raw milk is also meant to be good for you but not sure if it would still cause a spikeInteresting thread. I've been having skin problems for ages(adult acne and rosacea) and I've always had stomach problems and suffer with IBS (although I believe it may be something a stage further but GPs seem very lax when I got to them with my ongoing tum problems). Anyway, sis-in-law sent me an article at the weekend about a farm quite local to me that produces goats milk products and they've had outstanding results. In the treatment you drink goats milk kefir. So glad I've read about kefir on here as well as I was a bit dubious. I'm still not sure whether it will affect sugars for T1 diabetes. Don't think so as it contains no lactose or anything added. I've contacted them but after the article they have been inundated with queries/orders, so much so they are looking a new admin helper. Wonder if anyone else on here has used them or heard if them - http://www.chucklinggoat.co.uk/skin/eczema/
