Do you know @Gaffer type 1 that you can drink normal beer if you have type 1?
You will probably have to give yourself a bolus injection for the carbs but that has never stopped me.
If you don’t fancy injecting, wine and spirits (with sugarfree mixers) are fine.
If you drink a fair amount, be aware your BG may drop overnight.
