No one on the forum can give advice about how you should use medication.
Splitting lantus is an option and is a practice used by many, myself included.
If you're struggling with control and BS levels, splitting lantus may be an option, but only after consulting your medical team.
It's not just a case of halving your current amounts unfortunately.
