In the last six months under supervision by my doctor Ive had to increase my Lantus level by 30% to get my readings right,it worked but I'm now suffering from diarrhoea. It was mentioned in the latest Balance mag that Lantus might be the cause,I wonder if anyone else has any views.I do intend to visit my doc to see what he thinks
I imagine it could be a coincidence but if it's been an unusually long time it's been going for or it keeps happening then there could be a link.
If it appears to be happening as a result of the Lantus, it may be worth filling out a Yellow Card report. http://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/
Yellow Cards are there so people can report side effects that aren't mentioned in the patient information leaflets of drugs. A yellow card report can be filled either by you, your doctor or both of you.
As you say, worth mentioning to the doctor I think.
