Dont breathe, not a bad story line but not jumpy enough for me

I only go to the movies occasionally - the last visit was a family outing to see Paddington. Slightly ironic, because the kids are both of university age and we just went for a festive laugh, but it was actually absolutely great and now we can't wait for Paddington 2, which is in production, apparently.

Mrs h-c went on a girly evening to see Bridget Jones 3 the other day and said that it was much better than BJ2.

Ooops; that sounds a bit rude .....

We're busy trawling our library of dvds for things suitable for a 16 year old lad to watch. He's a bit behind the times with some of the films he has seen so we're sort of building him up on good old classics.

Last film watched was Terminator:Salvation. Erm my film so I guess I rate it. At mo I'm working my way through the Walking Dead so I'm not really wanting to watch films instead.

BTW anyone seen Everest? I have that to watch but wondered if it was worth the time

What would you rate Terminator: Salvation? Out of ten

Re: Everest, it's a lot slower paced than you might think, but the story was good enough. Worth a watch imo

Everest is excellent!

T2 Judgement day is the ultimate classic of the terminator line

Other classics that I rate highly:
Silence of the lambs,
Good Will Hunting,
Shawshank Redemption,
Beetlejuice.

Shawshank is one of the finest movies ever made. It's #1 on IMDB for good reason. I try and watch at least once every few months.

LOL

Seriously the last time I went to the flicks was when I went to see'Battleship' about 4 years ago

The only thing I clearly remember was the price of a hotdog at £6!! LOL

Golly! It will be a tenner now no doubt!

Last thing I watched was 2012 I enjoyed it ...watched it twice now!

Never seen Good Will Hunting although I've heard its good.
Beetlejuice is one of those films I dont understnad. Hubby watches a few like that ie I have no clue what's going on and find the film a bit stupid. (sorry)
Other 2 now you're talking. Love Shawshank

What's people's views on the Green Mile? Oh my

Beetlejuice is a love it or hate it film. Like the majority of Tim Burton's movies, it's pretty bizarre and not for everyone. I love it though

The Green Mile is an excellent film. It even does the book a lot of justice. If you haven't read it, I suggest you do as it's amazing!

I dont understand Tim Burton lol. I'd have to have a look what films of his I actually have. I know hubby has a fair few.

And yes I did read Green Mile book - really enjoyed it. I tend to read more than I watch TV anyway

Green Mile is a real tear jerker..great film though. Tom Hanks is great in pretty much everyone he's in.
