I'm chuffed myself
but those 4s are still eluding me, without chemical assistance. I went to bed at 5.0 last night, quite hopeful, but of course, I was up to 5.4 again this morning. Then I thought that my 2 meters don't work quite the same. I have a Contour and a Freestyle Mini, one is plasma, one is whole blood, but I can never remember which is which, so I tried both( waste of a strip) they agreed on 5.4.
I've just ordered strips from Abbott £14.75 per pack and free delivery by first class post. Good customer care from Abbott. I don't know if that includeds VAT, but they are sending a VAT form. They have my details and my meter's number on record. The young female voice asked me immediately if I need new batteries too. That's what I call service!
