hi i take levemir on a split does as told by my dsn 13 night 12 day im about 5ft9 weight 84kg i want to find out how much everyone else is taking and are you taking split or 1 night injections not sure if im insulin resistant or its not lasting me as sometimes during day novorapid will lower my sugars when taken with meal and sometimes its having no affect what so ever the novorapid just want to find out everyone else experience with levemir thanks
 
I was on about 24u twice a day. Found that Levemir peaked at 6-8 hrs and then dropped off quite quickly over nect few hours.

You need to basal test to check what is happening. Switching to Tresiba gives a much flatter profile for most people.
 
Been on Levemir for about 4 months now after taking a single dose of Lantus for 10 years plus.

I was on 32 units of Lantus but now taking, 22 Levemir at night, about 10pm and 18 units Levemir around 7 am.Not really noticed a big change in my control to be honest
 
I take Levemir only once before bed, 9 or 10 units, depending on BS.
