Yes, it was me using xDrip+ (the Android version). However, once I upgraded to Libre 2, I was delighted to be able to ditch the Miao Miao.
It is some time since I set it up (and no longer using Libre). From what I remember , the best instructions are available under the Files tab of the xDrip Facebook group. The group can also provide some support but, like this forum, it is only helpful members of the public and they can get frustrated if you have no technical knowledge or chose not to follow the instructions provided.

The way xDrip (and probably the other apps) works is by hijacking the Bluetooth message that is used for the Libre alarms. This message contains the interstitial fluid readings which are used to calculate the BG value. XDrip uses a different algorithm for the conversion which also takes into consideration finger prick calibration. For me, this made the Libre more accurate.

For some there is a downside - unless you continue to scan, LibreView is not populated. This was not a problem for me but many share this with their DSNs.

Hi all

I'm also interested in this having the ability to display BG without having to scan would be very helpful in my agricultural work, often outside, wearing gloves and covered in mud.

When I look it appears I can download an app, unfortunately it involves either a bubble ( whatever that is) or pages of gobbledegook. ( I'm not very tech savvy)

Is there a link anyone can direct me towards that'll help me download the app in a simple fashion?

@Richard F the Bubble (does the same thing as a Miao miao) is not needed with LIbre 2.
As I explained above, for an Android phone, check out the documents on the xDrip facebook page for instructions on how to turn a Libre 2 into a CGM.
The apps are not on the Play Store as they have not been approved by Google (or Apple for the iOS versions)but the instructions include links to download them.

I really don't know what I'm doing with this, I'll have to wait until libre 3.

Or call upon "tech" somebody in your direct neighborhood who knows how to help you out.

I’ve just discovered Shuggah on iOS App Store. I’ve got the original Miao Miao transmitter and libre 1 and Shuggah works brilliantly with it. In fact I think it connects directly to a libre 2 so you prob don’t need the Miao Miao
