Libre 2 not registering hypos

I've been having issues with Libre2's alarm either not going off when i have a hypo, or going off when i don't have one. It happens too frequently to be a dodgy sensor. My hospital specialist has stated that Libre can be unreliable in reporting hypos.

Yes I agree, I found the same, so my hospital transferred me onto Dexcom and I have to say that has been really helpful. It generally calls me via the phone 20mins in advance of my blood sugar going too low. So I really like it and have given it positive feedback.

I set my low blood sugar alarm at 4.3, so I get plenty of warning however, I am aware that sometimes this is not going to actually result in a hypo as it's just a low reading before my eaten food starts releasing the energy. I find random readings are common on the Libre 2 (much more now than when I started in 2017) and find it's better to look at the longer pattern - past hour, than micro-manage the immediate reading. Maybe set your alarm for 4.3 or 4.5 and then monitor the overall trend for a week or so. Hope this helps
