Hello all,

I've had a Libre 2 since September, and it's been great. However, in the last couple of months my phone doesn't seem to be able to scan first time. I'm not getting an error, it's just not picking it up, and I'm having to scan 4 or 5 times to get a reading. I have an iPhone SE 2nd Gen, so admittedly an older phone. Has anyone else experienced this and know what the cause might be?

Thanks!

Hello hollsh59
I’ve had the same issues my phone is also the iPhone SE. However; the problem coincides with a number of sensors issues typically in the last month I had one sensor fall off after just 6 days, one give a sensor ended error after one day then it’s replacement is failing to alarm. I’ve emailed Libra customer services the only response I’ve had in over a week is an automated reply stating they’re experiencing a much larger than normal contact. So if I were you I hang fire it’s possible that it may be a sensor isdue

I had a similar issue with the Redmi 9C NFC (not in compatibility list), it would stay reading for several minutes before providing a results and often would not...

I switch to a 9T (bought a used phone only for scanning) and the 9T is compatible according to the list, then worked great. Reads in 2 seconds.

I checked and only the SE (2022 version) is supported, the older version of SE are not... maybe check the list (Those are typically expensive ones though)

I've had similar problems with an iPhone 8S - either fails to read the sensor or comes up with an 'error; please rescan in 10 minutes' message. It does seem to be more prevalent the older the sensor is but that may just seem to be the case - no recorded data to support that theory?
